My wife and I saw "Hamilton" here in June 2019 and we were pleased with our seats in the loge and... Deplorable design work which even a moron could have avoided.The cast were excellent BUT the whole Show did not resemble anything I expected.Much of the 'story' had been turned upside down and the spive bar owner had been made into the Star. The interior of the theatre is well done.When the acting occurs on two levels or at the very front of the stage, one cannot see the action easily up in the balcony. However, we are saddened by the discomfort you felt staying at the Balcony Section for Wicked. However they did let us inside the theatre after the opening song was done. Just like an old west end theatre with ornate ceilings, balconies and traditional, Victorian plasterwork. Watched at this venue for the first time. Whenever I visit here always have the best of time. The section is divided into three blocks of seats, of which the front section is the best value for money. Not knowing the layout of the hotel, it was such a welcome surprise that the lift was just behind the door and straight on to the lobby/parking.
