Both me and my wife are appreciative of the work they do here which is why we are giving it five stars here on Yelp! Maybe they felt sorry for me, and the number of visits I come here for.
Watson Wing, Rm 315 I recommend them wholeheartedly for the caring and living environment for children and babies to receive the best care they can on their time of suffering.I don't usually give five stars. Wow. Starting March 17, 2020, Foundation staff are working remotely from home.
Usually hospitals are super slow for X-rays but if you have an appointment you don't have to wait I was out in 20mins. 0 comment. If you don't get what you're looking for from the cafeterias and cafes, or your kid with a cold spends 4 hours in the ER, I'm sorry but that's not the primary function of this hospital.

We had an emergency with our newborn daughter and brought her to Ridge Meadows Hospital where she was born, and we were not-so-promptly issued an incorrect diagnosis and impossible to get medication (compound pharmacy needed and unavailable). We stayed at the hospital and was transferred to the ICU eventually where the care in that department was top notch. Though plenty, is expensive.I am returning here next week for a surgical procedure (don't worry, i'm not procreating yet, the world is not ready for a child THAT hyperactive). We made the call after getting home and our daughter's condition worsened that it was time to go to BC Children's hospital, which we know to be the absolute gold standard in children's hospitals in BC.As always, the staff and facilities rose to the occasion and even exceeded my lofty expectations that were set the last time I was here.

The staff was super nice & comforting & they explain everything ( what's wrong/ what they're going to do) very thoroughly & use words that aren't too complicated so kids can understand I also went here when I was 14 And again, great place/ nice staff. They treat you like your age.

Is that even possible with such a revolving door of life and death? I WILL be coming back. I've had the same experience at this hospital for the last 12 years. They even valet parked my car for me no charge this round. They are all amazing ! They were very good at adapting to the changing care needs for him; which evolved from a few hours a week to live in care. I figure a dollar here and a dollar there , makes money for this franchise, never mind that I have been patronizing this location for the past three weeks.

Pro;- free wifi- ice and water machine - good selectionCon- cafeteria closes early, but dinning area open, The cafeteria is decent.They have a mix of choices for food. I see a lot of "I don't care attitude" from staff there as well.
