I applaud the sentiment, but I went for the real steak.
Each dish, including the fish, reheated perfectly.
But my mushrooms were only cooked until tender, not cooked until browned, which cost so much in lost flavor.

The fish of the day was wreck fish, cooked just right and served over a mushroom risotto that needed about 90 more seconds to get to perfect, with three big Royal Red shrimp on the side that were just butterflied and slightly grilled and delicious.

Felicia Suzanne’s only offers curbside pickup. Ordering takeout this week? Can a vegetarian person get a good meal at this restaurant? Asparagus was simply steamed, put on top of the mound for garnish as much as anything. Are the prices at this restaurant mid-range / moderate? It's very good and also popular; probably half the women in the restaurant (and there were only two men) were eating it the day we were there for lunch; it looked so good that I went back another day just for it. When you order takeout from a fine dining restaurant, use it as an excuse to set your table and change out of your PJs or sweats.

Two hearty slices of buttery, crisp toast are stuffed with shaved ham and gruyere cheese, the sauce is ladled generously over and an egg is cracked on top and cooked just until the white is set while the yolk remains gloriously runny. Takeout from Felicia Suzanne's in downtown Memphis. As at lunch, there's a vegetarian option on the dinner menu: A sweet potato "steak", with farro, roasted tomatoes and cauliflower, a poached egg and a vegetarian demiglace.
The beurre blanc sauce under the risotto was a bit on the thick side, but the flavor was good and the dish as a whole was satisfying with the creamy sauce and the creamy rice. It's a small spot, with a banquette for seating along one wall, a handful of two-tops and four-tops and a few stools at the bar. You won't want to miss this one!

The menu items are creative and impressive. Enjoyed a nice lunch with a friend at this little bistro and I thought the food was very good, although the portions were a bit small and over-priced. I was pleased to see that, even as they have had to shift from dining room service to takeout, they haven’t missed a beat.
I carefully transferred each dish to its serving plate, trying my best to make it look as beautiful on the plate as Glenda Hastings and her staff would have done at the restaurant. Miso marinated wild salmon came over a bed of forbidden black rice, wilted spinach, roasted shiitake mushrooms with a sweet and sour beet emulsion on the side.
I generally don't like cooked fruit or fruit with dairy, but I would've gone without dessert if I hadn't made an exception as the three selections were a lemon pound cake, chocolate Bundt cake with cherry ice cream, or the panna cotta.
