The flavour of the chicken was better than most restaurants. But switching up your side dishes can bring a refreshing change to a classic comfort food dish. The smell alone of the grilled chicken is enough to make your mouth water. Sliced thin, the chicken was so tender. It is so appreciated!! Will make again – and again, and again! We will be making that chicken over and over again. Hi Annmarie, I wouldn’t add it to the marinade at all. I used chicken tenderloins which made this easy. As you baste the chicken, flip the veggies too. Made these today— so so delicious !!! This is now one of my favorite recipes! Just before serving (in warmed tortillas) I poured in the juice of the lime. I was only able to marinate the chicken about 7 hours before grilling, and I am wondering…..could these actually have tasted any better?
