The seating is somewhat squashy and it can sometimes be hard to see around the person in front of you but I guess you'll deal with it if your dying to see a show that is on. The theatre boasts 1700 seats, with a number of changes made in the past to accommodate larger productions.

Her Majesty’s has been a central part of the cultural life of Ballarat since it first opened its doors in 1875. Saw the show on 25 March 2017 and have to admit it was the best show I have ever seen. Top seasons are over, however the play was funny and we enjoyed it very much.Interesting for us was that at the end only a short Applaus happen and the curtain falls down. Stalls.
The show, Kinky Boots, was excellent but any show would be worth seeing at this lovely lady of a theatre.
