Understanding and polite staff, the consultant was superb and tea and biscuits were even served whilst waiting! Attended this clinic a few days ago and was apprehensive about the procedure. The staff appeared to be working at a pace equal to a Sunday afternoon lull and most had a passive rolling-of-the-eyes attitude when they felt challenged by another human being not within their circle of medical bffs. This was by a trainee staff member, luckily I spoke to my gp practice after that weekend and antibiotics were given and all is ok now. Outstanding care, outstanding compassion and empathy. My mother Carol was rushed into the Norfolk and Norwich a month ago! Tests and xrays were carried out swiftly and without drama or stress. The service and treatment was first class. Some patients even came in with no mask on! I will forward this to the department. I am classed as a low risk birth and she couldn't understand a) why I had been booked in to see her b) why I had been held back for simply not being able to pee straight away and c) why in 2 days I was returning for a scan which could have/should have been booked in on the same day as my appointment with her if someone had just looked at my records. I was rapidly assesed in the A & E dept and then taken to have an angioplasty which was performed quickly and professionally.

Sarah Lynam From there I was transferred to the CCU who monitered me to check I was OK before moving me to the ward for a 48 hour stay to continue to check I was OK.
With regards to your social distancing and infection control concerns I will forward this feedback also, we at the Trust do take these matters very seriously and thank you again as this feedback will help us improve where necessary, I can only apologise you have had this experience. However, I visited the cafe attached to M&S and unfortunately due to a large huddle of Dr's waiting for their coffee orders, having a loud conversation with absolutely zero social distancing or concern for people sitting at tables nearby, I actually didn't feel safe to be able to enter the coffee shop and therefore left.
