It appeared ideal though after booking I took a look here and was a little put off by some of the comments I read, particularly about service quality. As well as being a stylish venue the service was faultless throughout and the food well made and attractively presented.

Place was packed on a Thursday night and they were at least one person short so service was not great despite the staff running round busily to keep everyone happy. We had both ordered the lemon sole meunière on the bone so we’re really looking forward to it, my wife likes hers well done and had asked the waiter to have it cooked this way. Wine and coffee were excellent too.It isn't inexpensive but if you're looking for quality dining in an informal, relaxed setting that's close to the city's nighlife you'll be doing well to find much better. I know that they will be full because of the festival but uch casual treatment of customers deserves to be highlighted. Smoked salmon as good as it gets and a lobster thermidor that tasted great. My curried monkfish tasted like it looked - like something from a chain restaurant, with curry tasting like something out-of-a-can. Dishes were placed on a table with no explanation - the amuse bouches and likewise the petit fours at the end of the meal.

A rich meal with oysters, mussels, lobster, crab and langoustines. But on opening it up it was undercooked with blood on the bone but more importantly the flesh was very wet, so much that when you pressed it the water came up through the fork! I explained that neither suited and that i thought they should not offer the Oyster Bar on the website when a booking for children is placed.

It was one of those times when you feel that you are hardly discriminated but it was done in a coated way that you can not point out but though it still hurts badly. As i was invited to Join a group of my friends for dinner, they were 5 in number when I showed up to find them sorted on a rectangular table 3 facing 2 persons,so the waitress was kind enough to get me a seat next on the 2 seated side,to become 3 facing 3.Before even I was served the menu, the manger showed up and told me in a very rude way that he can't receive me as my seat somehow MAGICALLY is blocking the way,the same path he kept walking up and down looking at me before he made this move.I'm attaching my personal photo so you can figure out actually what he didn't like about me.He would 've proposed to move us to another table or maybe just ask to move the whole table inside if it blocks the way,but obviously he had another hidden reasons, which I know based on his looks to me.All that led him to a decision to ask me to leave the restaurant on a very embarrassing way transforming my night out with friends to horrible experience of discrimination. If you never want to feel what I felt, don't go to this sick place...If you are so proud of who you are and what do you represent, don't go to that place..If you believe that all humans are equal and nobody deserve to be discriminated, don't go that place...If you say no to such people and attitude, don't go to that place...I wish nobody experience why I've been through tonight ever and anywhere, that's my main objective of writing this review.. Had dinner here with friends, the experience was wonderful. Review tags are currently only available for English language reviews.
