We are all treated with respect and kindness. A typical day at work involves being present with people who are in the end of life, supporting them and their families. I was not able to make plans or appointments around my work schedule due to not knowing what time I would be done with work.
Also it's rewarding working with our patients and caregivers.

I really enjoy what I do; I am a Chaplain for St. Croix Hospice and spend the majority of my day interacting with patients and their families. I have learned a lot about how to best deal with people and how to be a chaplain without "pushing" religion in the face of patients.
