Farming is not cancelled!
As we are all adjusting to a ‘temporary’ new normal, let’s be reminded that our farmers( they are the first little piggy) are still working the same hours every day to make sure quality product goes to market!
This spring is also a great time for you to see what you can grow. Something as simple as planting a tomato and a basil plant in the same big pot will make you smile as it grows.
As of today, all Polk County government offices are closed to public access, but we are still here to answer your calls and emails! We have been working hard to make sure you can access us and recieve updated information especially in regards to what’s happening with farmers markets, farms and local businesses where you can access local products and a community update link.
Please ckeck out the updated polkcountyfarms.org website and sign up for our emails if you have not done so. Like us on FB and Instagram, give us a call or send an email just to check in. Be like the ‘second little piggy’ and stay home as much as possible, but when you must go out for essentials- please support our local businesses because they support YOU!
